Great drive. It is really fast and reliable. Burned 15 music cd copies for a friend, because he needed about 100 to hand out at his Aunt's 50th birthday so my friends and I distributed the load. I did it with Alcohol 120% and it took me about 1:20 per cd(12 songs)! I .have it paired with Lite-on / 16x4x16x DVD+RW / 12x4x16x DVD-RW / 4x DVD+R DL / 48x24x48x CD-RW / DVD Writer with Black and Biege Faceplates. They work great together and recommend both because together they can do anything you need done! |

Remember a few years ago a DVD drive cost well over a hundred bucks, and you had to buy a seperate CDRW drive to burn CD's? I just built a 'streamlined' game computer, and this unit fulfills ALL the CD, CDR, CDRW, and DVD player functions, all for less than $35!!! Attractive faceplate that matches my case, and smooth quiet operation, comes with Nero Burning Rom software, that isn't needed if you have WinXP, but nice just the same. I could not ask for anything more, as I have never had the need to Burn a DVD. I just ordered another to replace 2 seperate aging units in another computer. Great unit for the money, even is available with different color cases. Highly recommended. |

Very nice CD-RW/DVD Rom. I brought it to add to my system I was building, mainly for media playback.I have used it several times to burn cd's and at 52 burn speed it's very quiet. Also added the DVD/CD burner combo. |
