NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE
CAMERAS ARE NICE HAD TO SEND ONE BACK BECAUSE IT DID NOT WORK A BIT OF A HASSLE. IF YOU INSTALL SYSTEM FOR INSIDE I THINK IT IS A DIY, IF USING OUTSIDE GET AN LOCAL INSTALLER,INSTALLNET CARD IN BOX WAS HIGH ON PRICE . I GOT A LOCAL COMPANY TO INSTALL AT A LOWER PRICE FOR MORE SERVICE, I BOUGHT MY OWN WIRE ON INTERNET CHEAPER AND BETTER THAN WHAT IS IN KIT. SOME NIGHT VISION ON CAMERAS ARE FUZZY BUT NOT BAD. GOOD WORKING UNITS FOR THE PRICE. DVR IS A LITTLE NOISY.

Great Value for an entry level system!
As value shows this is a great system for the price. The customer support is fantastic! I just wish the camera's were a better resolution. Overall the company is great and you can always upgrade your camera's.

Nice system but.........
Had 3 cameras that doesn't work, and had to send them back to nite owl at my cost. Customer service was great at trying to fix the problem but considering it wasn't fixable.... Had to send it back to them.

Not bad for ease of set up
Its a great deal if you are looking for a quick monitoring solution. However, if you want something flexible and customizable, you may wish to looking for something computer based instead of dvr based. It has decent options for selecting recording times and motion detection, but things like off-site backup and alarm schedules are limited. However, setup and install was easy and works as described.

Great System
I just received and installed my system. The quality is great. I found that the night vision is a bit weak but I installed the cameras where I have motion lights. Gives me a better view at night. Running the wire and the initial set up is quite easy. I havent programmed the DVR yet but Im sure it will be just as easy. Wished I bought this a few years back but so glad I have them now. A piece of advise. Measure the distance where your cameras we will installed prior to purchasing the system. That way if you need extension wires you can purchase the adapters as well. Once again happy with my system.
