Dud
I bought a couple of these because of the price, and as it turns out, should've looked elsewhere. I will never get used to typing on this, much less using the trackball. Pretty disappointed overall, but maybe I should've had low standards going into this.

Just What I Needed
My dental practice is computerized and we needed small keyboards that would not take up too much space in the operatories. I used to have wireless keyboards but got tired of missed keystrokes constantly. The cable is long enough to move it where I need it and it is small enough to tuck away on a small shelf. My staff is very happy.

Product works
PROS: I have the keyboard-mouse combo connected to my KVM switch and it is recognized on every computer that I connect to it. CONS: The mouse is a little squeaky and the performance of the mouse could scroll smoother for the price I paid of $39.99.

Awkward and noisy
The roller ball does not track well. Most of the time I just give up on it and plug in a mouse. It's a little awkward to have the mouse buttons on the opposite side of the key board from the roller ball. Some of the keys are in unusual spots, like the delete key. You woldn't want to use it in a dimly lit room. It is light weight and fairly portable. But when I find another mini keyboard for my UMPC, I'll be giving this one away.

OK after wear in of mouse ball
At first the track ball would ''stick'' with limited range of motion unless I repeatedly spun it and then it would walk across the screen. After a week it acted normally. It has worked great since then. This really helps reduce the space used on my keyboard shelf.
