As Advertised
It is a switch. Plug and Play. It either works or not. This one works and I have not touched it since I powered it up the first time. I like the TRENDnet stuff because they always work right out of the box with no problems and always at a good price.

Great price and switch
I have used several trendnet switches for myself and for my clients. All of them have performed without a problem. Never had any connection problem as someone had mentioned. I have configured these switches as single switch nets and multi switch nets, these switches always connected and have performed without any problem.

Great price , fast drop it in set up
Item performs as described , Part of a small sized network involving cameras,PC and various other devices, no bottle necks detected it performs very well.

Doesn't work with my main unit
I had a 8 port D-link switch that I was using. I only needed one more port so ordered this switch with 16 ports. My main device does not see the this switch. I can connect to my 8 port D-link and jumper to the TRENDnet and communicate, but cannot communicate direct with the TRENDnet swtich. Now I am using two switches just so I can have one more port.
