Would NOT read software dvd
Yep, music & movies might work, but what I needed this for was to load software, which IT WOULD NOT DO. It couldn't even tell there was a disk in the drive. Hours wasted with Buffalo's tech (even gave over control of my pc) all to no avail.

extremely nice addition to my netbook
installation could not be any more simple of this very attractive looking product. I have used the DVD burner extensively since I have received it. It has worked flawlessly. This is our grate addition for me and I highly recommend it to others!

Easy to use
There was nothing to do but plug it into the USB slot. I used it initially to install an OS on my new hard drive. Everything just worked. Gotta love that.
