This is a perfect monitor for me. I use it mainly for word processing, email and spreadsheets and watch an occaisional movie. The set-up was so easy as to be almost non-existant. Sharpness, color and clarity are perfect. This is my third Viewsonic and I think they are the best. I'd buy another in a minute. |

What can I say- THIS IS ONE NICE 19'' MONITOR FOR THE MONEY! Its my first LCD and also my first 19'', so quite a step up- but, Ive seen plenty of other name brand 19'' monitors at friends and at work for comparison, and this one (to me) is sharp, clear, large and well worth the money. I have zero dead pixels as of yet, and shipping was lightning fast. I could have gotten one cheaper, but this one looked like the smartest buy for a quality 19'' DVI capable monitor on a budget. This is the final piece to my recent computer build from tiger and it really does the trick--blows my old crt away. I am not a gamer, so cant comment on ghosting, though I expect at 8ms that should be minimal if any. All I can say is, if you want a nice quality easy to set up 19'' monitor, this one is hard to beat on all fronts. BUY IT, USE IT, LOVE IT--!! |

Absolutely great monitor. I've been thrilled with it. However, when I purchased it, there was a $50 rebate for it with the purchase of a new PC. My rebate was denied since I purchased a barebones kit and all of the other components and put the PC together myself. Although it stated no where that a PC is defined as one already put together, that is how they interpreted it. Typical on Rebates from this site. There's always a catch. Do not factor any rebate into the actual price of equipment here. You'll never get it. |

I got this monitor in two days no shipping charges and it is great.
I plugged it in and fired up my computer and the monitor AUTO Ajusted it self to my settings with a cristel clear Display.
I have been using Dell LCD and this one performs just as well at a GREATLY reduced price.
I will return to Tigger for all my monitor needs from now on.
Very Satisfied Coustomer!!! |

It is a great buy and a great monitor! Perfect condition and a breeze to hook up. I would not hestitate to order from Tiger Direct again. Recieved it in 3 days. No shipping charges and no tax either. |

Wow. My computer has a 17-inch Soyo LCD, which I was quite impressed by, but we bought this 19-inch ViewSonic for my dad's computer. ''Wow'' is about the only word that describes it. It came with no dead pixels and it is enormous! I have the resolution at 1280x1024 and nothing is too small to see. It is hooked up with DVI rather than VGA and I actually can tell the difference; my Soyo does not support DVI and is noticably blurrier than this Viewsonic is. All in all this is an excellent monitor that I would recommend to anyone. I am extremely impressed with its quality. My only complaint is how the base is attached; it kinda just snaps on while my Soyo's base actually screws on. However, it is stable, and all the good qualities outweigh the base.
I feel depressed about my Soyo now. |
