If your looking for a video card that is good for basic video then I would suggest this one but if you are trying to play call of duty 4 or anything that has come out in the last year look at buying something like the 8800 or 9800 graphics card especially if your running vista. This card has a tendencey to freeze and stutter while playing games. |

Got the card, the documentation is a little light but easy to understand. Stuck in the disk loaded up the drivers, shut down and installed the card. I was back up and running with no problems after 5 minutes. Looks sweet and system runs smoother with it installed. Only input I have is a little more detail on the instructions. I checked the website works not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. My card came with a fan installed and working. Sweet little card and considering getting a second one for an old machine I still have as a nice cheap upgrade for it. |

This is a great web browser by todays standards. It does play all the old games in a way that is just awesome. I am upgrading to the 7600 GS. I wanna game a little. Runs quiet, lasts long, exceeds what games say you need to an extent. If you have the $ go a few bucks more and try a series 7 card. Tigerdirect rulez. |

Ordered card to install in a refurbished IBM, also purchased from Tiger, to run an Acer 22'' wide screen monitor.
I wouldn't say the software install went smoothly, but after about the thrid try it finally worked. The card is able to support the monitor at full resolution (1680x1050) and full color depth. One of the nice features is the Vtune program. Very easy to use and offers some fairly useful features.
I'm not a gamer, so I can not comment on this card's ultimate performance, but for my needs it works like it should...... |

in no way have i had any problems with this video card so far. to answer phillip2k7's question, if you go to the website of the game you'd like to play, you may find a patch. i've had to do this with Thief: The Dark Project because my video-card would crash the game before i got the patch for it. overall, though, a great value for a great card. i give it all fives. :D |

My NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256 MB, has problem in games and when i choose options pixels like 800x600 or some other it becomes black screen and gives me Out of Range message.. why? pls help ASAP tanxs u very much appreciated..

AVOID THIS CARD. It doesn't come with a fan, despite the illustration. Software driver CD crashes Win2K Pro SP-4 and WinXP SP-2! Diablotek web site is dead - driver download links no longer work! No toll-free support! IT'S NOT WORTH THE $$. |

WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS CARD-i have 10 good reasons why you shouldnt
1.its glitchy as hell
2.its expensive for a cheap piece of crap
3.its unrelieable
4.i keep getting a BSoD saying NV4.DISP.DLL infinate loop error stop
5.nvidia support will act stupid and will give you lots of BS
6.you can get a much better card from ATI for a little bit more $ |

I baught this for my Windows Vista Ultimate PC. Everything runs great, Aero affects and all runs smoothly. The only thing is that the CD that comes with this package does not work on Vista. Also, no driver is available anywhere to use ADVANCED OPTIONS for this card on Windows VIsta. Advanced options including, being able to customize your viewing experience. The Display Options work fine, but the NVIDIA display options don't even appear.
This product will work fine on XP, but on Vista, it works fine. You are just not able to use the Advanced NVIDIA displays in Vista. |

Good value! I couldn't believe that I could run Black Hawk Down in 1280x1024 smoothly! No framerate drop on high quality mode. I'm thoroughly impressed and would recommend this card to anyone. Thanks you Tigerdirect.
