While the LCD screen is not fancy, it is functional. Controls easy to use, simple drag and drop (no proprietary software)and conviently rechargeable.
Sound quality very good (not great), but the included headphones are very good.
The kit comes loaded with everything you need, so no added costs for recharger, arm band carrier or head phones.
The biggest draw back is that the battery is built in. If you cant plug in to recharge before the battery dies, (ave. 3 to 8 hours depending on use)cant change batteries.
Of approximately 15 I've purchased for resale, only 2 have been defective (1 died, 1 wouldnt charge, both replaced).
Bottom line:decent, functional, inexpensive for its size, with quality accessories included. |

Junk. Player lasted 3 months, 1 week. Just outside of warranty. Got a bug/frown face message. Customer service said that the player will need to be replaced for $150, which is more than I paid for it. So...I'm posting this message to every forum I can find. I'm not naive enough to believe that I can change anything, but if I keep 1 person from wasting their money on this garbage it'll have been worth it. |

Cheap, with connection problems, low quality sound, low quality recording. Good for a present or as the first mp3player. It works even if sometimes the operating sys crashes. |

advantage is the fact that USB 2.0 is forward and backward compatible with
USB 1.1, which means that cables and connectors made for the original USB
configuration will also work perfectly in a USB 2.0 port, though some newer
devices are specifically designed for USB 2.0. It is always a good
idea to verify the version of USB supported by each device you want to use. |
