Needs a little improvement
I think that the metal bar that holds the stand in the open position should snap into place. Now it just lies there and every time I move my computer it falls into the closed position. I use my computer in bed. Otherwise the stand is ok

NO FAN AT ALL
How can you say this is a COOLING FAN All it does is raise your laptop No cooling features at all so very disappointed in this product

Keeping it simple
Needed a simple stand for my laptop, so I can watch movies in my RV. This does the trick and I'm using it in my home office, too. Love the fact there are no moving parts to break, no noisy fans, etc. It works, period, for an excellent price. What more could you ask?

Fine for the price
The little metal bar in the middle that sets the angle height doesn't really snap into place so that if you picked up the whole thing (with laptop on it) by putting your fingers in the middle (the opening), then it would come out of the slot it was in and when you set it all back down your fingers get pinched when it collapses. Wish it would just stay open so I can move it on and off my lap and table. Now I have to wedge my fingers under the whole thing, which is not easy if it's already on a flat surface. Maybe if I had something smaller than a 17 inch laptop it would be fine, but it is a pain to try to grasp it along with the stand since it is wider than the stand.
