Not the Right item for the job
I trried to use this splitter to run a lcd monitor and a plasma TV as well. Didn't work I had to get a new graph card with HDMI outouts

Did not function properly
I bought this to run 2 monitors. The first only gave one display, the second that I tried let both monitors work but with continued interference on one monitor.

It was unable to perform as hoped.
I needed to split one screen output to both a monitor and a projector. Apparently what's really required is a splitter that can boost the output signals. With this cable I was only able to get the one monitor to show with a degraded output. The Projector was unable to receive any image at all. In the right application it might perform just fine.
