I also installed this to replace dead fan on EVGA's 7300GT (PCI-E 512MB card). Very heavy, but they give everything needed to mount on card. In comparing temps, my 2nd 7300GT is running 2x hotter than this one now - or at least NVIDIA's monitoring software says it is. It took up so much of 2nd slot that I have almost no space left for fan to get airflow. Would be great if had two slots below this to run. Could not use 2nd one I bought due to clearance issues with a network card below my PCI-E slot, but will be trying it on a card for an older PC. Comes with extra 3 to 4 pin cable, if u don't have free 3pin on MOBO.

I installed this cooler on my 7300 GT and the best thing you can say is that it does cool well and looks nice. However the downsides of this unit should make anyone think twice. 1:Cooler fan doesn't hook to the card, requires additional power lead. 2:Weighs a lot, on a tower extra support suggested. 3:Depth of unit makes the next slot unusable. 4:The enclosed product instruction set was next to useless. 5:Memory chip coolers were to large to install. 6:Fan mounting bracket presses against chips on back of card. 7:High price of unit.

overall not a bad fan but not a good choice as a replacement to a already healthy geforce 6800 gts gpu fan idel temps rose 1c and under load temps rose 3c also memory heatsink tape that is included is not very good I ended up having to aply a little glue on 3 to get them to stick if you were looking to replace a broken fan might not be a bad idea but dont replace stock fan with this one thinking you will have more room to overclock

I bought this thinking that it was a CPU fan... Big mistake. Looks nice, it now rests on the bottom of my case, basically a LED light. The shade of blue is off too.

This thing is pretty hefty, so you may want to rig a brace or something if you move your PC alot. Installation was fairly easy and it's SUPER quiet. I can't speak for the cooling performance because my GeForce FX5500 has no temp sensor, but the Iceberq 5 has to be better than the OEM fan!
