Do your research if this is for a Home Theater!!!
Or you can just read this. First off I am not a techno geek or a tecki of any kind. I started off with the Acer 720p, however, you will NOT be able to watch anything 3D with any 3D Ready projector that is not 1080P (unless it's thriough a computer). Then went to the Optoma 1080P. Good projector for a small room, but if you have a decent size theater, this will not work well as it does not have an Optical Zoom (in other words you can only adjust the screen size by moving the projector and that's not very user friendly). Long story short, if you want a great projector, and you want 3D quality, that will give you a stellar picture and the ACTUAL 3D THEATER EXPERIENCE, then this is the projector for you. Spend the extra couple of bucks at the begining because you will end up doing it in the end. Hopefully thuis will save you time and money and AGGRIVATION.
