Piece of junk
Took about 15 pictures an it tells me I need new batteries. I put in some new lithium batteries, and it took 3 pictures and told me I needed new batteries...I sent it back to GE. They returned it to me and said they took 117 pictures, and I shouldn't use lithiums..I put in the ones they sent and it took about 15 pictures and quit again... I just thru it away, and bought a Nikon Cool Pic. Great camera !!!!!!!!

Great buy for the money
Great buy for the money. Takes nice photos. Batteries do drain fairly fast. But still a great value for the money.

quite satisfied
very pleased with this camera, bought camera just before vaction. the zoom feature is great, so good it zoomed in too close at times. feel like a receieved a really good camera for the price.

Best camera for the money
Just a few years ago this camera would be considered science fiction, with its facial recognition software, blink and smile detection it is amazing. Then the price! Their are cameras with better features, but not one that can fit in your pocket or for the price. Also very durable, I already dropped it once without a problem. Do keep a spare set of batteries with you. All the features use a lot of battery power, but AA's are easy to get and carry.

Great Deal. You get what you pay for +++MORE!!!
To complain about the few negatives of this camera would be ungrateful. At a $50 price I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the photos this camera takes. They actually do look like 14MP pictures. Camera has a decent array of features that all work well. So the video quality isn't that great and the videos take up a lot of space on your memory card so what!!! Just remember it only costed $50!!! It does tend to run down batteries very quickly, but my solution to that is Rechargables. I have a 4 cell travel charger so I always have 2 sets of batteries charging while 1 set is in use. I think I made a great buy here.
