THIS PRODUCT SHIPS IN OEM PACKAGING -
GO GREEN AND SAVE GREEN
Manufacturers sometimes offer discounts when large quantities of products are purchased without fancy, colorful, retail packaging. We take advantage of these opportunities to bring you the same quality, retail product at a lower price. Retail packaging is designed to look good on a store shelf and attract your attention. It frequently includes more paper, plastic and cardboard than needed. OEM packaging is not as visually attractive but is far more economical and because OEM packaging uses less paper, plastic, ink and cardboard it creates less waste and is better for the environment. Although OEM packaged product ships in a plain white or brown box you can be assured it is the same quality product as the retail packaged version. Buying OEM packaged products saves you money and helps save the planet…GO GREEN AND SAVE GREEN. Included accessories, software, documentation, and manufacturer warranties on OEM products may vary from retail versions. Please review our detailed specifications and photo gallery for included accessories and see below for warranty information.

Works good for the price. Included camera has nice image in average light, very grainy in 0 lux of course, but you can see much more detail than my logitech webcam in low light. Yes the logitech STX webcam works in the 2nd port. A ''48 IR LED'' light I bought is great for my 1 car garage, the built in 6 LEDs would only be good for monitoring something close like a temperature display, to monitor your homes temp, which is great use for that 2nd port, while the other cam monitors a room activity.
The IP server has been very stable for me, running for 3+ weeks so far without crashing. I get 7-8 fps on local network at 640x480 and 4-5 fps over high speed internet which is fine for security purposes.
My only gripe is the motion detection e-mails a lot of false alarms, there is a lot of video ''glitches'' taht get recorded as motion, like 10 a day. But all in all it works good for the cheapest 2 IP camera server available, way better than the Linksys wireless one I tried.

Poor picture quality and frame rate, night vison feature illuminates objects only within 1ft of camera which is useless. Camera must be used within less than three feet of a router, and an additional camera would have to be used within three feet of that on the same hub. Featureless software. Unsecure as it was hacked with ease. And would judge it would be a very difficult setup for anyone other than A+ certified tech or advanced PC user. Wouldn't purchase from Lorex again.
What Is USB 2.0?
USB 1.1 was great when it was introduced almost a decade ago. But
the newer USB 2.0 transfers data dramatically faster - up to 40 times
quicker. Plus, USB 2.0 provides additional bandwidth for multimedia and
storage applications, which are growing larger every year. Also to your
advantage is the fact that USB 2.0 is forward and backward compatible with
USB 1.1, which means that cables and connectors made for the original USB
configuration will also work perfectly in a USB 2.0 port, though some newer
devices are specifically designed for USB 2.0. It is always a good
idea to verify the version of USB supported by each device you want to use.
