Excellent headphones by Corsair
I read reviews about many headphones, and dollar-for-dollar, The Corsair Vengeance 1500's came out on top. I bought them because of the top reviews. When I plugged them in, there was no bass response, but the mids and highs were outstanding. I emailed Corsair, and the customer service person emailed me that they might be defective. On a whim, I found software on the Corsair site for the headphone processor, downloaded and inmstalled it and found that it is excellent software, and that the bass response problem was fixed!! Discreet 7.1 Dolby Surround from headphones...who would of thought that was possible! LOVE THE 1500's!!

Uncomfortable
Seeing the headset had some great reviews I figured it would be the perfect upgrade for the price. The headset is constructed well and looks nice. However it was extremely tight on my head. So much so in fact that it made my jaw sore from pushing on the joints for even 30 minutes. There is no way to loosen the sides either. The other issue was while mids and highs sounded nice, there was a huge shortage of bass. Please note that since it's usb with software emulated surround, your expensive sound card won't be doing you much good. But I did not rate it down for it as it was my mistake to not think of this.

Great Headset
They look and sound great.I like having just the one cord for usbThe only con would be if you have a small head like me sometimes they slip off but for me that's ok because I wear a ball cap all the time and they feel fine on the smallest setting and stay on.

Best Headset I've ever had
This is honestly, the BEST, headset, ever. It's comfortable to wear for hours at a time, and I absolutely love the surround sound vs. the Stereo sound, it really does sound better. Don't wait any longer, just buy it now. :D

Very Happy with the headset!
I bought this headset for my brother for Christmas, and he is extremely happy with them! We are fairly hardcore gamers, and he plays Black Ops 2 all the time. He says the quality of sound is so much better (compared to his earphones) and the addition of the mike is really nice for vioce chatting. I gave the features a 4 because I personally prefer the audio and microphone jacks instead of the USB connection just because you can use one or the other and not forced to use both just because they're the same plug-in. Overall very happy with these! Buy the Corsair Vengeance line if you want quality! I also have the Corsair Vengeance M90 Gaming mouse and Vengeance RAM 8GB in my computer. Very happy with all of them!
