I bought this Netgear to replace my Linksys B range router for several reason. I've had this router for over 1 yr and it had never failed to connect nor have I had to refresh it. The range is super. I can use my laptop two houses down the street from me appox 600-700 ft. Easy to set up and maintain. I have two pc's hooked to the built in switch and have full 108 Mbps data flow. Two wifi laptops connected and no degraded signal or speeds. It's so much better than what I had. |

I've had this router for over 2 years. The only time I've lost connection was when the USB wireless got hot, not from router malfunction. Setup is easy and download speeds are great. This is a good buy for a new router without spending the extra money on an N. Some wirelees cards do not recognize the 108M setting and default to 54M, you'll have to change it manually. |

This was my first trip to wireless. A tech in our IT office suggested this Netgear unit because of it's range and he was right. This unit is flawless - easy to install and has not had a single glitch. For a non-techie like me, this was a perfect fit and decent price. |

I've had this unit working non-stop for 3 years. I paid full price, but it was worth it. I'm sure their are better ones on the market today, but this one works great for me. I recommend this Netgear router. |

Bought this last year. haven't got it to work for more than 2 days before it locks up. You then have to leave it unpluged for days to get it back up and running. Tech support no help nor firmware upgrade. even with no load and everything turned off (wireless off & no lan devices attached), will lock up after about 24 hours. tried everything. Just a defective unit. buy a Dlink or netlink... never refurbished... unless you can afford to waste $44.00 :( |

I have had this router running non-stop for over a year and have had no problems! Internet through Comcast and AT&T both work without issue. This is a great product and for the refurb unit it was a great price! |

has great range, my brother was able to receive stable Internet in a separate house diagonally behind mine, before i moved. I have been very pleased. been using for about a year and a half and only a couple times did the connection drop, just told it to reconnect via the netgear wireless assistant, didn't power cycle anything, and it was working again in seconds. even when it says it had a low signal it still stayed connected at 54kbps. been very pleased, I have a v2 model. and the blue lights are really cool, showing which of the 7 antennas are connected at a time. |
