I was originally frustrated by this KVM. However, after reading the manual, I was able to easily keep audio going from one PC while working on another, if I chose. The reset feature, (also in the manual) allowed me to get my different keyboard and mouse configured, without rebooting any of the machines. I have not used the shared USB ports yet, but I expect great success. I think that this KVM is a great value (cost vs performance /w cables included). I do think it would be unusual for anyone to expect to use the included stand, designed to make it vertical, because of the weight of the many cables. Still, I would very highly recommend this KVM. |

Not the least expensive I've seen but USB sharing along with the simplest cabling at the box end make this the best desktop KVM I've ever had.
Note: although it appears you can only share 1 USB device, you can share many more using a simple USB hub.
Not suitable for server environments because this box does not have rack mounts, password at the KVM or other customizable settings. |

Functions very well. There is a slight video echo but only if you look very closely where sharply contrasting colors (black & white) are present. Didn't try to use the included stand as the unit would have fallen off the desk due to the weight of the cables. Works quite well sitting horizontally. |

Anyone buying this because of the claimed PS/2 compatibility may want to rethink it. Currently, the specs claim there are USB and PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse. There certainly are not any for input and PS/2 on the output requires different cables which currently isn't mentioned in the product info. This is my third KVM switch, and it isn't especially fast, despite other opinions. It has a number of options, but that ends up taking a minimum of four keystrokes to switch, and it won't take the port number input from the numeric keypad. All in all, this thing has a number of features most people won't want, missing compatibility that is claimed but not there, and a conflicted control scheme. |

We've used this KVM for over a year and had no problems. The ''change over'' from computer to computer is quick; with little to no lag time. Not having to buy cables seperately was a plus and you can't beat the price. |
