LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000 Fast Ethernet Switches provide a true plug and play installation for connecting networked devices. With the auto-sense, auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX implemented, these switches easily connect to the network, automatically sense the network speed between 10M and 100Mbps, auto-negotiate the transmission

mode at half or full duplex and remove the complexity of tedious setup procedures or cross-over cabling requirements. Each product interoperates seamlessly with the customers' existing network at full performance without any additional configuration and it is easy to diagnose and monitor the operation status and activity with the per-port diagnostic LEDs.

LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000switches can transmit and receive traffic seamlessly in full-duplex mode and at non-blocking wire-speed. Each port supports seamlessly up to 200Mbps of bandwidth for transmitting and receiving packets in full-duplex mode. LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000 Fast Ethernet Switches are compatible with the major industry standards such as IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x. These switches are seamlessly built into the customers' existing networks and deliver the highly reliable performance needed to support SMB IT networks.

In addition to the industry standards switch features, LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000 Switches incorporate a simple QoS mechanism based on 802.1p tagging and IP TOS. This mechanism uses priority queues, permitting the customer's network to deal with VoIP traffic in a higher priority. These switches are optimized for small offices to set-up a simple VoIP network with a minimum investment and fully take advantage of the benefits of IP Telephony in an economical way. 802.1p tagging and IP TOS based QoS are pre-configured at the factory based on standards.

In today's world, it is critical to build an environmentally-friendly network. Even though the LG-Ericsson ES-1000 Fast Ethernet Switches are entry-level unmanaged switches, they are designed to reduce power consumption based on Link-up/down and cable distance. In addition, their compact size helps reduce both the office and the carbon footprint.
