Black Box SealTite Waterproof Connector Kit - tool Product Details
The coaxial cable cutter enables you to cut solid and stranded cables (up to 6 AWG) professionally and precisely without deforming the cable or straining your grip. The tool features hand-stops that prevent slips, as well as textured handles. You can sharpen its blades with a round file.
The coaxial cable stripper has the same ergonomic design and high performance as the cutter tool. It performs two-level stripping of coaxial cables, stripping the outer jacket, shield braid, and inner dielectric. Self-regulating tension holds the cable securely within the tool's jaws during stripping. To set the cutting depth according to the thickness of the cable, simply change the blade setting with the included hex key. The stripper also offers user-selectable preset strip lengths for RG-59, RG-6, and RG-6 quad termination.
For weatherproof CATV coax crimps, Black Box offers the SealTite crimper. This durable tool tightly fastens 75-ohm "F"-type connectors for RG-59 and RG-6 quad cables. In addition to the SealTite RG-6 connectors, the tool crimps Augat/T&B Snap-N-Seal, and AIM CATV waterproof connectors. Fully ratcheting, it crimps in one cycle.
To flare the coax cable's shield braid away from the center conductor before installing the connector, use the RG-59 and RG-6 quad flaring tool.
