The usb cable is to short for mounting in cases that have 3.5 mounting bays in the top of the case. |

Bought this drive just before New Years. I wasn't able to take it out of the box and, install it, until yesterday.
While I will need to buy an extension cable to enable the card reader part of the drive, that doesn't change my mind about, how pleased I am with the drive. |

I like it, what can I say! The FD and card reader(s) worked right out the box. The 2 slots will appear in your system as 2 removable drives FYI. Bottom Line: Buy it.
I do have one tiny issue: I wish the cover was white so I can see what the heck I'm doing, I accidentally inserted a SD card into the floppy drive bay and couldn't figure out the life of me why the darn thing didn't show my files. It took me about an hour to finally remove the card. Whew! for now on ... I'm wearing my eyeglasses |

I wish the USB connection was longer; I had to buy an extension cable. The floppy drive FAILED after 3 months, even though I rarely use it. |
