A good deal
Celeron got a bad name early on for being slow and not being capable of much. I bought a Slim Gateway desktop with a single core Celeron which was a bit slow. Replacing it with this duel core was a night and day difference. Single core CPU's are simply not capable of running a modern OS anymore. This was a great upgrade.

Happy with choice
I bought this to see how the new video and cpu on the same die works. I run Slackware 13.1 (linux). I was running the version of X windows that came with Slackware 13.1 and I had to update a library and one driver to get accelerated video to work. Plays video great on a 1680x1050 display
