These speakers definitely deserve 5 stars given their price range. I ended up buying two pairs in the black color, one set for my son and one set for my sis-in-law. These won't shake any windows or pound you in the chest with the bass, but for a 3'' subwoofer, I was really impressed. The satellites caught me by surprise with their clarity and incredibly crisp highs. When I play rock or country on them, the cymbals and hi-hats were crisp and realistic sounding. The small sub won't leave you hanging either, but don't expect to install it in the trunk of your car anytime soon. Ha! Best PC speaker value I've seen.

They are excellent speakers! But I've had problems with static when playing some games. Other than that their good.

I bought these speakers to replace my current sub-woofer + 2 satellite speakers. This isn't going to crumble your house's foundation, but they definitely have a good kick. PLENTY of low end and decent highs. I had to boost 500 Hz in the mids to fill a sonic dip, but overall, I'm VERY satisfied with the sound of this fairly inexpensive set up. They sound good with music and games, what else do you want? As with any low power system (33 watts RMS) don't crank everything up to the max, it'll only distort and probably blow the speaker.
