Not automatic as stated
This is not an automatic USB switch. You have to manually push the button on top of the unit or click on the ikon it creates on the computer you want to print from for it to work. It does not sense the computer trying to send a print job and switch automatically. Otherwise it works.

Good Manual Switch - Not Auto
I installed this to switch between an HP i7 desktop and a Lenovo laptop, both running Windows 7. The software doesn't work on Win&, but the switch works fine in manual mode...

Not really automatic, but good
this is NOT an autoswitch. why are these things called that? It IS an electronic software switch. It generally runs just like it should. Bottom line: it gets the job done and is priced right. Just don't expect to install it and have it switch automatically everytime you print from the fellow computer. the little buttons to switch manually work well.
