Does the Trick
Plugged both ends into a standard 9 pin USB 2.0 header on my motherboard. Put the thick wire on the 9-10 pin. Tested both ports, no issues. Pinouts should be 1-2 power (red wire) 3-4 transmit (white wire) 5-6 receive (green wire) 7-8 ground (black wire) 9-10 key (thick wire) 1 3 5 7 9 2 4 6 8 x The nice thing about this adapter, besides the low price, is that it leaves you plenty of spare room in your case and the cables are long enough to reach over top of expansion or graphic cards. I received the package before the e-mail arrived telling me it had shipped. Now that is fast service!
