was setting up a new computer for my son-
this was an economical choice considering he wanted surround sound. The hook up was easy and attached surround speakers couldnt ask for anymore. I plan on buying three more of these. One for me, one for my other son, one to keep on hand incase a friend asks what is a good sound card for surround sound. |

My sound went out on the motherboard. Ordered this one, installed it in a few minutes and it works great. Much cheaper than replacing a motherboard ! |

run driver installer in compatiblity mode if you cant get drivers to take. |

Worked great till I sent the computer to its new owner he broke off the green mini jack inside the sound card no way to get it out.lol time to order another one.Worked great in vista. |

I had windows xp on my computer & the existing soundcard wouldn't work after Vista was installed. I ordered the Sabrent SBT-SP6 & installed the card but couldn't get the software with the drivers to install. I ended up calling the sabrent customer support & the rep told me how to install the drivers from their website. The soundcard works now & I would recommend the soundcard but sabrent needs to supply diffent software with the card. |

Installed no problem in Windows XP, like others have said DO NOT use the CD with the card, go to the C-media website and get the driver from there, or just let windows retrieve the driver. Great sound from a very inexpensive card. |

This card did not work for me. The software would not load after several tries and could not get the surround to work properly. Next stop: returns. |

While installing the most current driver for windows, I kept getting the Blue Screen. Had to uninstall the card... I have a $10.00 paper weight... |

Worked without a hitch on an old XP box. I had installed a new hard drive, reinstalled windows, but couldn't find the driver disk. Couldn't get sound to work. Put the PCI card in and Windows detected it and installed the software automatically. |
