Olevia 32-Inch 1366x768 LCD TV
One of the newest Olevia models, the LT32HV is a HDTV-ready 32-inch LCD TV,
featuring Super-IPS (Super-In-Plane-Switching) technology to provide sharp,
vivid digital entertainment images from analog and digital TV signals, DVDs,
VHS and video games. The high-end benefits of Super-IPS provide the best display
performance with high color saturation, the widest viewing angles, sharpest
images, best response times and the minimum amount of color shift and distortion
from any angle.
Highlights of the LT32HV include 178 degree expanded viewing angles that give
excellent picture quality from any room location, exceptional 1200:1 dynamic
contrast ratio, high resolution of 1366 x 768 (WXGA), 8ms response times to
display rapidly-moving images with smooth transitions that eliminate ghosting
effects, 800 cd/m2 high brightness, and a 16:9 cinema-style widescreen aspect
ratio with automatic progressive scan. Dual built-in NTSC TV tuners display
split screens and Picture-in-Picture. The LT32HV also features the newly-designed,
stunningly-attractive black and charcoal bezel to frame the space-efficient
LCD TV that can be wall mounted using an optional VESA-standard mounting kit.
Furthermore, the LT32HV features a patent pending rear panel AV Lamp for best
visibility when accessing the rear inputs.

This Olevia LCD TV is made by Systemax and is GREAT buy. Having owned a different LCD TV I can honestly say that this LCD TV is the best. I did some research on all Major brand 32in LCD TV's and found that the Olevia had much better contrast (1200:1), as good as or better resolution 1366x768) and a better response time of (8ms). The remote need some improvement but if you connect your cable or satellite box the remote problem is gone.
Over all I am very happy and must say that it's a pleasure buying products from TigerDirect.com.
The following is one reason why I have been purchasing products for years from Tiger. When I purchased my LCD TV the rebate program had just ended but the Tiger representative gave me the same deal. So if you are thinking of purchasing any computer or TV product buy it for TigerDirect.com.

Factory Color Setting has too much red--Cannot Control it at all. Spent hours on Tech Support tweaking & eventually got another unit but the reddish hue is still prevalent. Consider another 32'' avail |

I've read the reviews regarding this LCD and was generally impressed by the feedback. Having now experienced the quality myself I must say that I'm astonished by the sharpness of the image. I spent a lot of time comparison shopping this item and based on what I've seen from such brands as Pionner and Sony... I got a pretty good deal.
The set-up was very simple and straightforward, the on-screen-menu is very clear and intuitive and the process from unpacking to watching can be easily achieved in less than 30 minutes.
I highly recommend this brand. |

The picture is excellent on HD channels with shows that were actually filmed in HD! Only the Sharp AQUOS beats it, for much more money. The sound from the built-in speakers is very good with a sub-woofer attached.
I watch DVDs with the Samsung DVD-HD841 via the DVI port. It up-converts the DVD resolution from 480p to 720p/1080i.
Watching sports or nature shows in HD is an experience. |

Once you open the box and see the packaging and the quality of the product, you know this is going to be good. Well needless too say GREAT job syntax! This LCD is flawless and picture quality is great, many have wrote about lack luster remote BUT if you set aspect ratio the remote works fine. By the way many features on this LCD are not found on other similar ones with cost a lot more.Finally colors are great right out of the box. Please check out this model and you won't be dissappointed. Oh by the way Tiger Direct shipping was flawless and fast. Thanks again. Last Note the LCD panel has lcd's built into the lcd panel (NO bulb to replace- called Syntax said should last about 85,000 hours-not bad. |
