I have two of these cards and 8 CMOS camera's in an old AMD box with a XP2000 proc. & 300W power supply. When all setup they work great and they are running 24-7. Caution: preload the drivers and install only one card at a time with a reboot in-between each. ALSO: DO NOT HOT PLUG THE VIDEO and POWER CONNECTIONS! Hook up power and video cables with the power off and PC shut down. I witnessed quite voltage differential on the video grounds until they were connected and made common. Other than that the system works great for the money but don't expect HD quality video. It's more like a web cam quality video which is fine for home-small business security. Recommended

The first card I got fit in PCI slots very poorly. An extremely tight fit. The first card smoked the system power supply. This retailer replaced that card. The 2nd card worked OK for something less than a month, and then the power supply failed on the 2nd computer. I put it in a third system and that system won't boot with this card in it. Hopefully this retailer will take it back. I'm moving on to some other product though.

If your USB drive can be reformated in NTFS, then change your hardware setting under the 'properties' tab, then you can use your USB drive.
Some USB drives have firmware that won't allow you to change this.
