DOA
I received this product dead on arrival. I spend hours trying to make it work, thinking I was too stupid to figure it out since this was my first Gigabit switch.

Problem product
Received product, installed 16 ports were bad. had to return. Had Netgear products before to problems.

Beware. We installed about 24 of these guys over the course of the past 2 years. Around half of them have failed due to (get this...) bad exhaust fans. The fans in these things are super cheap and will go out without warning. The switch will then heat up like a stove... hot enough to burn your hand. Then it locks up and drops all connections. To get it fixed, you have to RMA it, which costs you $20 in shipping after you spend an hour on the phone with some guy who can't speak English, and another one comes in 2 weeks. Don't bother. It's not worth the risk.

Great switches. Lots of features. One port on one of the three I use failed in the first month. Other than that they've been working well for about a year.
