First off, if you're not looking to rattle the nails out of the wall and annoy the neighbors 2 blocks away these speakers are probably overkill.
Not that these don't sound good at lower volume also.
I'm not one to crank my music that loud but I found a set broken on ebay for 60 bucks so I couldnt pass it up. (Took 10 minutes to fix). With proper placement of the speakers and a little tweaking this system sounds fantastic, especially with my blu-rays. If you put the sub under your desk which would be logical it sounds muddy. Unfortunately the cord for the control unit is attached to the sub and the computer so it can be difficult to find a different place for it. The sub is the size of one of those large rubber made storage containers and weighs a ton. I can't see these speakers being worth the 360 bucks they are listed at now, but if you've got the money to blow and want a really loud system these will get the job done. |

speaker setup is easy. I've had this setup for about 2 years and haven't experienced any problems. Bass is loud and compliments any game. My only complaint would be the treble. When watching movies that bass overwhelms the treble and you are unable to turn up the treble on the display!! |

I've owned 6 pairs of these speakers and they keep blowing up. Not like I krank them either. I listen to music everyday and play my PS3 thorugh optical in these at level 1 or 2 max...out of 15!!! Yet they keep dying, grrr. Try them out for a month before expecting the best. Logitech is a great company but crapped out on this product I think :( |

I replaced a similar JBL system I bought 8 year ago for about the same cost. That's the only comparable thing about the two systems. The Logitech system is vastly superior. Well designed, quality components, ample conectivity, ease of use...I just can't say enough good things about this product. Just buy it! Prices are all over the place so beware. I paid $279 here plus shipping. |

it sounds like u guys know so much about audio and computers. wow i wish i was smart like u guys. but hey arent hard drives magneticly shielded. oh yeah infact they have neodynium magnets in them. so i guess thats y i have no problem putting my pc next a 18inch sub with a 95oz magnet(way larger than what comes on the z5500) with no problem at all. and all the good reviews this system has gotten from tigerdirect,cnet, and many other reputal companies means they must be morons. um nope. u need to do some reading n find out how things work b4 u go putting something down. |

These speakers are great and better than my home system. It's pathetic in the US I can't type what I want as a review. I tried around eight times and it wouldn't take my submission, so I'll spend my time complaining. I'll never do a review here again. |

I got the speakers promptly. They sound friggn AMAZING,...BUT, mine would hiss if my computer was not making any other sounds. I switched sources from Optical to analog and still did the same thing. I am exchanging for same thing. Best sound ever, just ambient is unbearable. Apparently this has happened to a few other people. Look up forums. |

This surround sound system Sounds amazing with movies and Games but it is true that it is lacking on the mids and music doesn't sound the best on it but its also not bad. But they are THX Certified and It really sounds amazing with Movies and games. If you are wanting to buy surround sound for music Id spend a little more and go with a home theater system like sony or something like that. These are probaly the best pc surround speakers out there ATM. |

I priced these out at Futureshop and they were 150 dollars higher.
Sound great with my Viera Plasma.
Easy setup.
Heavy box.
Had to send the wife out to drag it into the house.
Fast shipping as usual. |

Just received my new speakers and they can be summed up in one word: wow!
Easy to set up, easy to use, and the sound is incredible. Blows away a small room and no distortion even at highest level.
And all this for $ 330, you can't go wrong.
