Worth the $$$ and more. All the dings, tings, and booms come through via a Diamond XS 5.1 sound card. These speakers rock! |

i got this set for $70 about 2 years ago, and they give me just about everything i need. For the first year or so no problems, but when played at max now, the sound isnt the best anymore, but over all great system 5 stars. |

Great sound system for the money! Nice and very good sound quality for any kind of music/game you enjoy. My only wish is that the bass was just a little louder but over all a great system for anyone on a budget. |

wow this is my first 5.1 speaker set and this is a very good start for my first set. this is very cheap for the quality of these speakers. crisp and clear when turned up. easy install. TD was very fast shipping |

Prompt service. Excellent speakers. Paired with Microsoft Flight Simulator X, I am sure my neigbors look up in the sky when I am landing a jet. |

I too, was a little concerned about the reviews that told of the short wire lengths. But I decided to get one anyway, having a small room to install them in...
Here are the estimated (almost exact) lengths for the speakers that I measured:
Center speaker = 7.25'
Front L speakers = 5.5'
Back L/R speakers = 14.5'
Now the subwoofer and the Front R speaker connect together via a serial cable (6'). Then the Front R has 3 wires (Front, Rear, Base) that you plug into your computer's sound card (5.5'). The four other speakers connect into the subwoofer by RCA audio cable.

I guess if you have to, get some string and measure out the distances that you will need in your room.
As for extending the cables, you will need to buy an RCA coupler and cables. The shorter the less audio quality loss. |

I GOT THIS FOR CHRISTMAS AND I PULGGED IT IN AND SAID WOW!I TRYED IT AT FUTURESHOP AND IT WAS $120 and i went to SEE IT AT TIGERDIRECT AND SAID WOW IT WAS ONLY $60 then it went to 70 but WHO CARES! THE GAME ADAPTER MADE IT SWEETER! IT WAS CRYSAL CLEAR even when i blast it! HOOHA! |

ummm mine sounded great until i ran them at full volume for a half hour.i killed the power supply i guess but i did order another set on-line they sound great,just don't abuse them. |

These speakers are awsome. I used to have a two speaker set going from that to this is amazing. The volume can get very loud! These speakers are definetly the best deal for the price. |
