If you wish to record TV programs and be able to schedule your computer to do so. It works great! The editing software with it is not so good and I still have not been able to get the remote to work. But for the price it does what I need and that is good enough for me. |

The drivers on the install disk for XP would not work. I could get video with no audio. Did everything possible and loaded the Vista drivers on my XP machine and it works. Go figure? It works well enough for what I need but would not purchase another. |

This product works. Drivers are terrible, I am having a lot of issues with the sound, and the fact that you need to connect the card to the soundcard seems kind of silly. Also, the timeshift feature (as far as I have been able to tell) just doesn't work. Attempts to integrate it with Windows Media Center (despite installing the included extensions) have failed. Remote works ok, but doesn't work with anything but the included application. On the other hand, it was 50 dollars cheaper than most everything else. You get what you pay for. It DOES work. |

What can I say for $20 it rocks. And actually it does produce a nice picture, runs with low cpu usage and mem foot print and the audio and video stays synced after running for a while. Something my more expensive happhogg card does not. Also nice remote and the video capture works well. The software is lean but does the job. Again $20!

I purchased this product, even though I noticed some negative feedback on it and it was easy to install and setup with ease. I have tried the video capture from the input RCA plug and recorded flawlessly! If you just wanting a simple and easy to use video capture from VHS to DVD, you can't go wrong for the price. Works on WINDOWS XP SP3. I was thinking I was going to run into trouble with it. The only thing I can think of, the company should update the drivers & software for it, but I guess that would hurt their newest products! lol |
