It works
Had this about a month,only complaint is it is easy to turn on insterting it into it holster, keep an extra 9 volt around, but otherwise a great tool for the price, helped me figure out dsome long runs at my work, I would buy again.

The tool is exactly as described. Works great; tested it on known bad cables and it identified the correct faulty pins. Also tested it on live runs (including internally wired-to-port runs) - which is your most likely scenario - and it verifies cable rapidly and correctly. Robust - but I felt it was a little pricy however you get what you pay for in quality. If you are wondering how this one differs from the Paladin cable tester which tests RJ45 + RCA, it should be noted this one has better LAN specific diagnostics (speed, link, hub and data). If you don't need that (I do) then go for the multitool.
