ThermalTake Tsunami Series Aluminum ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Top USB, Firewire and Audio Ports - Black

Is this an excellent case? Yes. Is it perfect? No. I really do enjoy it and the 'bling factor' is off the scale! It works well and does keep things cool. I had the following issues.. I could not install hard drives in all the slots because there was not room with the back of my BFG GeForce 8800 GT video card and the back of the drive. Consquently had to leave that slot unfilled in the drive bay. The 'bling' LEDs on the front door did not work. I had to re-wire and found a tiny 1/8 watt resistor with a broken lead right at the point where the main harness splits in two to feed the top/bottom LED. I put a 1/4 watt 220 ohm resistor in. Be sure to use new heatshrink to avoid shorts on the aluminum. There were not enough motherboard mounts for all the ATX holes I needed for my motherboard. Shame on ThermalTake for not including a few more .0001 cent fasteners in the kit! Lastly, the side fan pretty much defeats the purpose of the front filter by not being filtered itse

Overall design is pretty good. It is very easy to add parts to it. Downsides: firewire connector comes in separate pins which makes it nearly impossible to attach the output once the motherboard is mounted. The top CD/DVD slot is blocked by the front door and you need to remove it to be able to insert a removable drive. These are minor deficiencies. The big one is fans. They are rather noisy and generate quite a bit of hum even at low work loads.

Awesome case! Just did my first build and I got so many lights in there I could get a tan! Now I dont give this a 5 because of the top door with the usb and firewire ports. The door hinges broke when I opened it the first time... Sad.. Sad.. Also I had to remove the components to insert my PS. It also has ugly black wires that are hard to hide, so I simply took it out (I also wont further damage the top door) I must say for the cooling, if your not going for water cooling you will LOVE this case. Also the window is freaking awesome. Worth every penny but beware of that little door!

Totally amazing cooling case! With dual 120mm illuminated blue fan, ive drop my board temp to 48 load to 40 on load. Drop my AMD X2 4800+ temp from 58 (load) to 50 (load). What a difference! Even after 6 hours of hard use, the case still cold at touch! Front door have 1/4 inch thick, very solid construction. Everything is thinked and you have a lot of space to work. Look pretty nice, the blue led on the front door look amazing! with a air filter, dont worry about your cat/dog hair stuck in the case no more! and when they say ''mirror finish'', they mean it! the huge clear side look very nice! Nothing to compare with ''generic'' case. Advise: Buy a performance case on first buy and you will save money for year to come!!! Best Cooling = ThermalTake Tsunami Case. Period. (I've tested so many brand of nice case and finally got this one... WOW!) Choose this one first!! :)

Great case, great price. Lots of room to work with. Had to take out top usb firewire audio ports to get my power supply in.
