I previously bought TRENDnet products. The name sounds cheap, but never had any problems. So I gave this a try.
Switches have to learn, so there's normally a little lag the first time. I couldn't believe how quickly this switch figured everything out. It was virtually instantaneous. And Gigabit is lightening fast.
Now I can get rid of my daisy-chained 4- and 8-port switches.
I didn't score a "5" for features, but actually there aren't any more features I want on my switch. If I was using this for a business, maybe I would want a managed switch, but for my home geek-LAN, this is perfect. |

Quiet (no fan), 100Mb is plenty fast for those who don't access video clips from the server. |

This switch works extremely well, and looks good too. I also would like to note that mine does NOT have a fan making it noise free; however, it does have the fan air vent opening where the fan would normally be mounted. |

We bought a few of these to replace some dead switches at work. They have been running for almost a year now, and work flawlessly. The 2 gigabit ports offer good gigabit connectivity as well. Excellent value for the price! |

This is a great switch, I used it at my LAN Party and it performed flawlessly. The fan is audible but I don't care. Highly recommended. |
