Garmin has stepped up the mapping capability of its GPS units by offering you MapSource™ a complete line of CD-ROMs packed with map data you can download to your compatible. For non map Garmin GPS products, MapSource is an excellent tool for creating waypoints and routes on your PC using a background map. Downloadable data includes shoreline detail, residential streets, campgrounds, nautical navigation aids, terrain contour, elevation information and more.Download data from the MetroGuide CD to look up addresses and find restaurants, hotels and attractions.

MapSource MetroGuide U.S.A. v5 provides the same great mapping that is packaged with Garmin premium products, such as the StreetPilot® III (sold with North American City Navigator) and the GPS V® (sold with North American City Select®). With this latest version, MetroGuide U.S.A. now utilizes Navigation Technologies® map data, which means it can offer the same high-quality mapping for all of Garmin GPS products.

MetroGuide U.S.A. contains full-coverage map data for the continental U.S. and Alaska and Hawaii, and will provide automatic route calculation on the PC only.
